The phone number to call if you want to opt-out / cancel / remove yourself from the list / stop receiving the pottery barn catalog

888-779-5176

This is the number the website offers (after many clicks). There is no option in the menu that seems appropriate, so just wait (“if you have a rotary phone, stay on the line”). A human will arrive and ask you for the “customer number” on the back of the catalog, and will be very polite.

I called this number, entered option 4, and was only put on hold for about 30 seconds. The entire process took about 1 minute! I just tore the back page off the catalog so I had the customer number handy and it was surprisingly easy

I also called this number and it worked like a charm. Thanks!
(I found it somewhat amusing that the current catalogue features a line of “ecochic”, recycled, etc. products … yet these catalogues themselves and the purchasing of most of these products are so environmentally UNfriendly. *sigh* I guess this is what happens when environmentalism becomes trendy.)

This worked great! I dialed the number and then a “0″ (zero) and got connected immediately to a customer service rep. The whole thing took less than a minute! THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU for providing the number!

Pottery Barn is one of the best companies for respecting a consumers choice. I use Myjunktree instead of calling teh catalog companies directly. I have opted out of at least a dozen different catalogs with them. When I opted out of Pottery barn they sent me an email letting me know I was not only off thier list but, 6 of thier affiliates. Easy to make my choices just a click of a button.

I called the 888 number, hit the number 4 and got right to a real person. She was very polite and removed my address from the Pottery Barn database! Wish I’d done this years ago.

Thank you SO EASY…. I read that According to a 2002 report issued by the Environmental Defense, in the United States about 17 billion catalogs are sent out each year. That’s about 3.6 million tons of paper. So tell a friend!!!
