PUCV Lab Explosion
I was walking by Casa Central (main building) at PUCV (a university in Valparaíso, Chile) the other day and saw the sidewalk in front of half the building roped off and being guarded by police.
I inquired what happened and was told that there was an explosion in a lab the previous night.
Wow– it blew out and charred four huge windows. Very dramatic.
Thankfully no one was nearby at the time and there were no injuries.
